Good Evening Fox Families, this is your principal Anita Roane with this week’s announcements and reminders. It’s hard to believe the month of September is coming to an end. I appreciate all that you have done to make our school year such a success thus far.

Our 4th and 5th-grade chorus did a spectacular job singing for the opening of the football game on Friday night. Thank you to all who came out to support them and to Mrs. Gregory for her leadership.
We are very proud of one of our second-grade teachers Mrs. Nemec for being named the certified MVP of the week. She is such a hard worker and does a wonderful job with her students.
We had our first day of Foxy Festivities clubs on Friday. We had many parents come in and volunteer to help make clubs run smoothly.
The Lake Anna Food Lion was so grateful for all of the thank you cards for coming out to see the first responders that they gave our school a generous Food Lion gift card.
We have students who will have artwork on display soon. Their work will be displayed at the County Office Building on October 2nd and others will have artwork displayed at Louisa Public Library from October 19-November 5th.
Don’t forget the online M-NES store closes on October 2nd. You don’t want to miss out on ordering your M-NES gear!
We are still waiting for 100% of our families to complete the online registration. Thank you to everyone who has done this so far. If you need assistance please call the helpline or school office. This is very important to get completed THIS WEEK. We do not want any of our students to lose access to the internet and their technology at school.
Here are some PTA updates
Thank you to everyone who came out for our first Movie Night! We hope you all had a great time shopping at the book fair, eating some pizza, and watching The Angry Birds with our Moss-Nuckols community.
We appreciate all of the families that have joined the PTA so far this year. We are happy to announce that the classes with the most PTA memberships are Ms. Rakes, Ms. Knight, and Ms. Lenhart. Every student in these classes will win Den points. If you haven't joined yet we would love to have you join the PTA and participate to the extent that you can. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the Den Fun Run Fundraiser! We raised $3,308 all of which will go back to benefiting the teachers and students at the school. The class that raised the most money and the winner of the pizza party is Ms. Yowell! Congratulations!
