Hello Moss-Nuckols friends and families,
Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year! I am honored to serve as the principal of Moss-Nuckols Elementary School and am looking forward to an amazing year.
This is the start of my 20th year in the field of education. I am originally from Grayson County, VA, where I graduated high school. I moved to Central Virginia to attend Longwood University and started my teaching career with a degree in Elementary Education. I then went on to obtain a Master’s Degree in Reading from the University of Lynchburg and an endorsement in Gifted Education from the University of Virginia. After that, I returned to Longwood University to complete my endorsement in Educational Leadership. Over the past 19 years, I have been a classroom teacher, a head varsity wrestling coach, a gifted specialist, a reading specialist, an assistant principal and recently a principal.
When I’m not at school, I am busy being a proud dance dad. I enjoy spending time with my wife, little girl, and our two pets. Family is very important to me, and I am grateful to be joining the Moss-Nuckols family.
I’m very excited to continue to build relationships with the M-NES family and can’t wait to work with each and every one of you this year. I believe in communication and have an open door policy, so please do not hesitate to contact me by email at [email protected] or by phone at (540) 500-1381. If there is anything that I can do to help our young foxes be successful, please let me know!
Go Foxes!

Dear Fox Families,
I am honored to return to Moss-Nuckols as an Assistant Principal. As I begin my 26th year in public education, I feel incredibly fortunate to continue this journey with such a dedicated and welcoming school community.
My career in education began in my hometown of Madison, New Jersey, where I taught third grade. After moving to Virginia, I continued to work as a classroom teacher and reading specialist in Henrico and Hanover Counties.
I earned my degree in Early Childhood Education from Hood College in Frederick, Maryland, followed by a Master’s in Reading from Virginia Commonwealth University and an endorsement in Educational Leadership at the University of Richmond.
It is a privilege to be a part of Team LCPS and serve the students and families of Moss-Nuckols. Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two dogs. We love taking road trips and exploring new places. We also cherish the time we get to spend with our three grown sons whenever they’re home.
I look forward to connecting with each of you and working together to make this a fantastic school year. Please don’t hesitate to reach out at any time.
Go Foxes!

Greetings, Fox Families!
I am thrilled to continue my journey with Team LCPS by serving Moss-Nuckols Elementary as one of your Assistant Principals for the 24-25 school year. I continue to be extremely grateful for the opportunity to serve the wonderful students, staff, and families of Louisa County.
My education began with Louisa County Public Schools, and I am a proud 2009 graduate of Louisa County High School. After graduating high school, I attended Christopher Newport University where I earned a bachelor’s degree in Social Work. I worked as a mental health counselor for two years before earning a master’s degree in Special Education from Liberty University.
I was a special educator at the middle school and high school levels for seven years, with four of those years being spent at Louisa County High School as an Algebra I teacher and a special education case manager. In May of 2021, I earned an additional master’s degree from the University of Virginia in Administration and Supervision. I then transitioned to an administrative role with Jouett Elementary, where I served for four years as an Administrative Intern and Assistant Principal.
I am overjoyed to be working with the talented team at Moss-Nuckols Elementary School, and I look forward to developing relationships with our community. I am committed to helping all Foxes succeed, and I look forward to learning more about you and your family.
I look forward to working with you all during this school year. Please reach out to me if I can be of any assistance to you or your Fox.
GO FOXES!
