Dear Fox Families,
Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! I am honored to serve as the principal of Moss-Nuckols Elementary School and am excited for another amazing year ahead.
This year marks my 21st year in the field of education. I am originally from Grayson County, Virginia, where I graduated from high school before moving to Central Virginia to attend Longwood University. I began my career in education after earning my degree in Elementary Education. I later earned a Master’s Degree in Reading from the University of Lynchburg, an endorsement in Gifted Education from the University of Virginia, and returned to Longwood University to complete my endorsement in Educational Leadership.
Over the past 20 years, I have had the opportunity to serve in many roles, including classroom teacher, head varsity wrestling coach, gifted specialist, reading specialist, assistant principal, and now principal. Each experience has strengthened my passion for education and my commitment to helping students grow and succeed.
When I’m not at school, I stay busy being a proud dance dad! I enjoy spending time with my wife, daughter, and our two pets. Family is incredibly important to me, and I am grateful to be part of the Moss-Nuckols family.
I am excited to continue building relationships with our M-NES families and look forward to partnering with each of you throughout the school year. I believe that strong communication and collaboration are essential to student success, and I maintain an open-door policy. I am proud to continue my work as Assistant Principal at Moss-Nuckols for the 2026–2027 school year. With 27 years in public education, I remain deeply committed to supporting students, empowering teachers, and fostering a school environment where every child can thrive.
My career began in my hometown of Madison, New Jersey, where I taught third grade. After relocating to Virginia, I continued as a classroom teacher and later as a reading specialist in Henrico and Hanover Counties. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Hood College, a Master’s in Reading from Virginia Commonwealth University, and an endorsement in Educational Leadership from the University of Richmond.
I am honored to serve as part of Team LCPS and value strong partnerships between home and school. I am committed to open communication, high expectations, and a positive, supportive school culture for all students.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two dogs. We love taking road trips together and exploring different parts of the country. I especially cherish time with our three grown sons whenever they are home.
I welcome open communication and encourage families to reach out at any time. Working together, we can ensure the best possible experience for every student at Moss-Nuckols.

Hello, Fox Families!
I am thrilled to join the Fox family as the Administrative Intern. I have 20 years of experience in education, all with Louisa County Public Schools. I have had the privilege of serving as a kindergarten teacher, second-grade teacher, instructional coach, and reading specialist.
Literacy and student achievement have always been passions of mine, but I also believe that strong relationships are at the heart of a successful school. I look forward to building relationships with our students, families, and staff as we work together to help every child grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband and I have been blessed with three sons, a wonderful daughter-in-law, and a precious grandson who brings so much joy to our lives. Family is incredibly important to me, and I understand the trust families place in schools each day. That perspective helps guide my commitment to creating a safe, supportive, and positive environment for every child.
I am honored to be part of the Moss-Nuckols community and cannot wait to meet each of you. I look forward to an amazing year of learning, growth, and success together.
