On February 19th, the division showcased more than 70 exhibits of projects and initiatives celebrating the work that our teachers and students have done with the 5Cs. M-NES was proud to take part in this amazing event. We hope you were able to come out and view the magic for yourselves. Some of the photos are captured in this week's parent newsletter.
This past Friday, our 5th graders wowed students, staff, and families as they brought the living wax museum to life in our hallways. It was an epic day in the fox den as our students presented facts about notable African Americans while museum guests went on a scavenger hunt for facts. In recognition of February’s National Beautification Month and March’s National Nutrition Month, we invite parents and students to join us at school on March 5th to help clean up the courtyard, plant a lima plant, and weed the school grounds to prepare for spring! Congratulations and thank you to those who have been scanning their receipts to the Box Top app! You did it! We have surpassed our goal to earn $300 and this money will go to M-NES’ music and theater needs. But don’t stop now, as every bit will help.
