Thank you to everyone who was able to support Operation Kindness this month through donations and kind thoughts.  Moss-Nuckols donated 495 items for the care packages and gave a total donation of $389.53 towards the Wounded Warriors initiative.

Congratulations to Mrs. Thompson, one of our fourth grade teachers!  She was chosen as this week's TeamLCPS Certified MVP.  Way to go Mrs. Thompson!

This past Friday we held our Altruismo Den Breakfast and Unity Meeting, along with Foxy Festivities, our school clubs.  Thank you to the PTA, parent volunteers, and high school student volunteers who helped our teachers and staff members with these events.  Be sure to check out photo highlights in this week’s Fox Family Focus Parent Newsletter.

We continue to collect Box Tops to help support our PTA.  Did you know that Blue Buffalo Dog and Cat Treats now have Box Tops? Don't forget to scan your receipt using the Box Tops App and help the PTA raise money to upgrade our Sound System for school performances.

The Foxy Focus for November is Citizenship

During the month of November, the students will hear the following statement on the morning announcements and are encouraged to incorporate it into their daily habits.

Citizenship includes doing your part and working to make your school, community, and country a better place for everyone. We obey laws, take care of the environment, and spend time helping others. Citizens of the United States are able to vote in elections.

M-NES has a Principal Advisory Council that enhances communication and collaboration, provides feedback and input, problem-solves, and promotes parent and community involvement.  If you have any ideas or feedback you would like the council to consider you may contact any of the members.  Their information is listed in this week’s Fox Family Focus Parent Newsletter.
