Congratulations to Mrs. Alconia Anderson, our 2nd-grade Instructional Assistant! She was this week’s TeamLCPS Classified MVP! We are so lucky to have her. Way to go, Mrs. Anderson!
Thank you to the families that came out to support us for the Isibindi Den breakfast and those who assisted with our foxy festivities club activities. Because of your support, both events were very successful!
Congratulations to our Spelling Bee Participants! It takes a lot of courage to stand up in front of an audience of people under bright lights like they did last Wednesday evening. Our Spellers for the event were Lillyan Martin, Luna Knight, Aleksandar Krstic, Jonah Miller, Tanner Daughtrey, and Nived Adhikari
Due to the numerous amounts of student allergies, we ask that you please consider sending in non-edible treats for any Valentine’s Day celebrations such as stickers, pencils, erasers, glasses, etc. Also, please remember that you must give Nurse Tabby 2 school days to check for food allergies. This is a standing rule. Please check with the classroom teacher about celebration dates for your student. Thank you and we appreciate your continued support in keeping all of our students safe.
The PTA will be hosting a Bingo Night on Friday, February 9th. They are asking for donations for Silent Auction items to put together 6 themed baskets and all donations should be received by February 1st. Box Tops are another way the PTA supports M-NES and they are having a “Shop, Snap & Give” giveaway from now until February, 29th 2024. Everyone that submits a qualifying receipt will enter a chance to win $20,000 in Box Tops for their school.
