Good evening fox families,
This is your principal Mr. Street. I hope this message finds you well. Here are a few important updates for the upcoming week:
Last week, interims were sent home. Please take a moment to review your child’s progress so far this year. If you have any concerns or questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to your child’s teacher. Our teachers are working incredibly hard to support every student and ensure their success.
This week, we will be conducting a lockdown drill as part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring the safety and preparedness of our students. Please talk with your child about the importance of these drills in keeping everyone safe.
On Tuesday, we will celebrate Constitution Day! Students are encouraged to wear red, white, and blue to show their patriotic spirit as we learn about this important day in our nation’s history.
This Wednesday, students will have an asynchronous learning day. You should have received information about all the exciting activities we have planned in celebrating Constitution Day with the Louisa County community on Wednesday, September 18th. It's a fantastic chance to honor our nation's history and enjoy great company.
Thank you for joining us in celebrating Louisa County and our incredible country. Let’s make this a day to remember! See you there!
This is the last week of our PTA membership competition. If you haven't already, please join the PTA for only $5 using this link. PTA Membership The PTA and admin are excited for the first event of the year! Please join us for the Den Fun Run and Cook-out that is happening this Friday from 5:00-7:00. The Fun Run will start at 5:30, followed up by burgers and hot dogs provided by our wonderful admin team! If you are participating in the fun run, don't forget to get donation for your runners! The money raised will go towards a school wide gift. We are still looking for volunteers, so please consider helping us make this event a success. Fun Run Volunteer
Lastly, I want to take a moment to acknowledge the tremendous effort and dedication of our teachers. They are working tirelessly to provide the best learning experience for our students, and I am incredibly proud of their commitment.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership. As always, if you have any questions, feel free to contact the school.
Foxes Out.
