We are super proud of kindergartener Avery Comer-Wynn! He was presented with the TeamLCPS Student MVP award on Friday. Keep on being kind Avery!
The time is almost here for our Annual Fall Festival on October 20th. Come early to speak with the Title I team at 4:30 to get information about math and how to use games for practice at home. Then join the Fall Festival fun at 5:00. Be sure to sign up for the Trunk or Treat at the end and send in your RSVP forms.
If your student wants to send a BOOgram it’s only fifty cents and they will be delivered to students on Halloween.
One final day has been added for the care package donations. EpicMNES is in second place among all the schools for having the most donations. I love a great competition so let’s see if we can take first place on Monday. As a reminder, some of the items you can donate are white T-shirts, socks, toothpaste, shampoo, word search books, and colored pencils.
This week is the third week of Kindness Month and OPERATION KINDNESS!
On Wednesday, October 18th we’ll present a patriotic mural to our local VFW chapter! The local VFW helps support veterans; we know this gift will mean a lot to them. Thank you to Mrs. Ward, our art teacher, and the students who worked on this project, and stay tuned for highlights on Wednesday!
And, also on Wednesday, our school division is hosting a special food truck lunch for all military service members and veterans! This free lunch will be at The Jungle football stadium from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Our first den breakfast is coming up on October 27th, parents will need to enter through the front doors and pass through our Open Gate Weapons detectors. Don’t forget to send in your RSVP if your student is in the den of Altruismo.
