Good evening, Fox families!
This is your proud principal, Mr. Street. I hope everyone has had a wonderful weekend. I want to start by saying thank you from the bottom of my heart. Because of your generosity during our food drive, we were able to put together several food baskets to support Fox families in need. That kind of love and community spirit is exactly what makes MNES feel like home, and I am so grateful for each of you.
I also want to thank everyone who came out to PTA Movie Night. It was such a joy to see our students laughing, families spending time together, and our school full of life. A huge shout-out to our amazing PTA for organizing such a fantastic evening. If you haven’t had the chance yet, I encourage you to consider joining the PTA and downloading the Box Tops app—every little bit makes a difference and supports our students.
Just a quick reminder that we have school on Monday and Tuesday this week, and then we will be off Wednesday through Friday for Thanksgiving Break.
Fourth-grade families, your Jamestown field trip is Monday, November the 24th, and it will leave before the regular school day begins. Students will return around 4 p.m. And a friendly note: the Jamestown gift shop sells toy weapons, and students should not purchase those items.
As we head into Thanksgiving, I want to wish all of our families a wonderful and restful holiday. I am so thankful for our students, our families, and this incredible community that supports us every single day.
And before I close, I want to send a special shout-out to our phenomenal staff. Their dedication, heart, and love for our students are what make this school such a special place. I am truly blessed to work alongside each and every one of them.
I hope everyone enjoys a safe, joyful, and relaxing break. And as always, let's make it another great week by showing kindness, working hard, and leading the way.
Foxes out!
