I hope you had a wonderful weekend and are ready for another exciting week at MNES! This is Mr. Street, your proud principal, bringing you the latest updates, celebrations, and events happening in our school community. Let’s jump right in!
Our Den Leaders have been working diligently this year to develop their leadership and service skills. They are excited to announce a community service project aimed at supporting the Louisa Animal Shelter, which is currently at critical capacity. To help, students are collecting donations of essential items such as towels, blankets, treats, collars, leashes, and cat litter. We will begin accepting donations on Monday, March 3, and will continue until Friday, March 28. Please consider sending in any contributions during this period. Thank you for your support in helping our students make a positive impact in our community!
SOL Simulations Continue
This week, students in grades 3 through 5 will continue their SOL Simulations. These practice assessments help guide instruction and ensure students feel confident and prepared for the real thing later this spring.
National School Breakfast Week – Pajama Day & Den Day on 3/7!
We’re celebrating National School Breakfast Week with a fun Pajama Day on Friday, March 7th—and it’s also Den Day! So, roll out of bed, wear your PJs, and show off your Den pride!
REVEUR Den Breakfast – Friday, March 7th at 7:30 am, All students be sure to wear your den colors or den shirts and invite a special guest to breakfast!
