This is your principal, Mr. Street. I hope everyone had a wonderful break and enjoyed time to rest, relax, and recharge for the upcoming semester. I am so excited to welcome everyone back!
As a reminder, school will resume for the second semester on Wednesday, January 8th, due to the special election on Tuesday, January 7th. Additionally, report cards will be sent home on Monday, January 13th, so please keep an eye out for them.
I want to take a moment to reflect on what an incredible first semester we had. Our students and families achieved so much, and I am so proud of the progress, growth, and community spirit we’ve built together. It is an honor to be part of such a caring and supportive community, and I can’t wait to see the amazing accomplishments our students will achieve this semester.
If you haven’t already, please consider signing up for the PTA. It’s a fantastic way to stay involved and support your child or grandchild. You can sign up online or request a paper copy from the office.
Later this month, we will begin Extended Learning and the Foxy Den Attendance Academy. Be on the lookout for more information and sign-up details in the coming weeks.
As the weather changes, please stay informed about school closings and delays. Updates will be available on the county website, local news stations, and through the county’s automated phone call system. If you’re not signed up for these calls, our office staff will be happy to assist you in getting registered.
Finally, I want to express my deepest gratitude to the amazing teachers and staff at M-NES. You all go above and beyond every day to support our students and families. Your dedication, love, and hard work make such a difference, and I know our entire school community feels the impact of your efforts. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything you do—you are the heart of our school!
