The Foxy Focus for January is Responsibility. The students hear the following statement on the announcements each morning and are encouraged to incorporate it into their daily habits. Responsibility means taking charge of and being accountable for your words and actions. Each of us is held responsible for our behavior, so when things go wrong, we admit our mistakes instead of denying what happened or blaming others. It also includes making sure our different duties as students are completed in a timely manner.
Speaking of responsibility, families we need your help. Please review the code of conduct with your students at home. We will also have meetings with the students at school. As we enter the 2nd semester we want to remind our foxes about the expectations of being good citizens and following the fox way. Working together I know we will finish out the year strong.
The January Attendance Newsletter created especially for families by the Attendance and Truancy Support Team is included in the Fox Family Focus Parent Newsletter. Please read it for attendance facts and tips.
