I hope you’ve had a wonderful and restful weekend! This is Mr. Street, your proud principal, bringing you all the latest updates and exciting events happening this week at MNES! We have so much to look forward to, so let’s jump right in!
Wednesday, February 12th, is Kindness Day! Let’s all take a moment to spread kindness in big and small ways throughout our school and community. A simple smile, a kind word, or a helping hand can make a huge difference!
Thursday, February 13th, is SRO Appreciation Day! If you see Deputy Anderson, be sure to give him a high five, a fist bump, or a heartfelt “thank you” for all he does to keep our Foxes safe!
Did you know we have an attendance email address? If your child is absent, you can send a note directly to [email protected] instead of sending in a paper note. It’s quick and easy!
Our Family Engagement Project—Hearts! is in full swing! We love seeing our students share what’s closest to their hearts. These projects can be turned in anytime between now and February 11th and will be displayed in the cafeteria all month long!
Yearbooks for the 2024–2025 school year are now available for early purchase! Take advantage of the early bird price of just $20 through February 28th. Order online at www.strawbridge.net using code YB32151, or send cash/checks to the office.
Preschool applications for the 2025–2026 school year are now open! If your child will be 4 years old by September 30, 2025, we’d love to welcome them to our Fox family!
With Valentine’s Day this Friday, let’s make sure our celebrations are safe and fun! Please avoid food-related treats due to allergies and consider non-edible goodies like stickers, pencils, or erasers. If you plan to send in store-bought treats, check with your child’s teacher, and remember they must have ingredient labels and be dropped off 48 hours in advance.
A huge shoutout to all of our talented Foxes who participated in the Talent Show! What an incredible evening watching our students shine on stage. You all were amazing!
A big THANK YOU to our PTA for all their hard work! Because of your support through fundraisers and events, a new shade covering was recently installed near the playground! Once the warm weather returns, our students and staff will have the perfect place to cool down during recess.
