Good Evening Fox Families!
This is your proud principal, Mr. Street, and I cannot tell you how excited I am to welcome both our returning families and those joining us for the very first time to another amazing school year at Moss-Nuckols!
We’ve been busy getting everything ready, and our teachers have truly gone above and beyond to prepare warm, welcoming classrooms where your children will learn, grow, and thrive. I’m so proud of the care and heart our staff has put into making this year special already!
Student placement letters went out last week. If you haven’t received yours—especially if you’re a new Pre-K or Kindergarten family—it may be due to missing enrollment information. Just call the front office and we’ll be happy to help.
Also, please make sure you’ve completed the Returning Student online registration through PowerSchool Enrollment. This helps us ensure everything is up to date before the first day of school.
We’re counting down the days to Open House on Friday, August 8th:

Pre-K & Kindergarten: 8:30–10:30 AM

1st–5th Grade: 3:00–7:00 PM
Teachers will be reaching out soon to schedule times for you to come in, see the classroom, and meet your wonderful new teacher.
This year, we’re also excited to launch a new outdoor learning initiative to help bring more nature into our school and support student well-being. If you have skills in gardening, building, or just want to help, stop by our table at Open House or reach out to our school counselors—we’d love to have your support!
And don’t forget to join us for Popsicles with the Principals, a PTA event on Monday, August 4th from 5:30 to 7:00 PM! We’ll meet on the big playground if it’s sunny, or in the cafeteria if it rains. It’s a great way to say hello and connect before the first day. While there, stop by the PTA table and sign up and get involved this year!
