Good Evening, Fox Families!
This is Mr. Street, your proud principal at Moss-Nuckols Elementary, with a few exciting updates as we head into another fantastic week together!
First, I just have to say a huge thank you to all of our incredible families for coming out to the Spring Fest! It was wonderful seeing so many smiling faces and families enjoying the evening together. We truly appreciate your support and spirit — it made the event so special!
Looking ahead, SOL testing continues this week for our 3rd through 5th graders. These assessments are a great opportunity for our students to show all the amazing things they've learned this year. We already know they’re going to shine! You can help by making sure they get a good night’s sleep, arrive at school on time, and, most importantly, hear lots of encouragement from home. We believe in our Foxes and all the hard work they’ve put in — they’re ready!
Also, our PTA is still looking for a Treasurer and a Volunteer Coordinator for next year’s Board. Remember, PTA Board members don’t have to be parents — grandparents, family friends, anyone who’s a member of the PTA can get involved. And one more thing — this week we are celebrating School Nutrition Appreciation Week! Our young Foxes will be spreading lots of cheer to our incredible cafeteria team who keep everyone fueled and ready to learn. We are so grateful for them!
As always, I want to give a big shoutout to our phenomenal staff for all they do to make Moss-Nuckols the amazing place it is.
