Good Evening, Fox Families!
This is your Principal, Mr. Street, and I have some exciting updates for you!
Monday is a teacher workday—so no school for students—but get ready for a fun start to the week because Tuesday is "Dress Like a Pirate Day!" Arrr, matey! We can't wait to see all the creative pirate outfits!
Friday is packed with excitement! We’re kicking off the day with our Altruismo Den Breakfast. Make sure to wear your den shirt or color, and if you’re a proud member of the Altruismo Den, you can invite a special guest to join you for breakfast! It’s a great time to celebrate our den spirit!
Also, our School Spirit Store is now open until October 21st! Grab your gear and show your Fox pride. All orders will be processed after the store closes—don’t miss out!
Later on Friday, join us for Music Night at the Football Game! Our amazing MNES students will be singing the national anthem alongside others in the division. It’s going to be a night filled with music and school pride—let’s pack the stands and show our support!
And remember, report cards will be going home on Friday, so keep an eye out for those!
We are also celebrating Kindness Month throughout October! As part of our mission to spread kindness, we are collecting coins until October 18th to support Grayson County Public Schools as they recover from Hurricane Helene. The school that collects the most will win an ice cream party for the entire school—so let’s fill those jars and spread #Kindness for the Commonwealth!
A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out for our Fall Festival and Trunk-or-Treat! It was an amazing night, and we couldn’t have done it without the support of our incredible volunteers and staff. We love our MNES community!
And don’t forget—Thursday is our Family Game Night starting at 5:30, followed by the PTA Meeting at 6:00. We value your thoughts and suggestions, so come share your ideas! If you prefer, you can also join via Zoom using the link: PTA Meeting Zoom Link
Finally, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to our staff for an incredible first nine weeks. The time has flown by, and I’m so proud of all the hard work, dedication, and joy that fills our school every day. Here’s to another fantastic nine weeks!
Foxes Out!
