I hope everyone has had an amazing summer! It is hard to believe that a new school year is just around the corner. It is truly an honor and a privilege to serve this amazing community, and our entire team is excited to welcome everyone back very soon.
Before we begin the new school year, I want to take a moment to thank the incredible team that has been working so hard all summer long. Our custodial staff has spent countless hours making sure our building is clean, safe, and ready to welcome students. I also want to thank our amazing teachers and staff, who have been busy preparing their classrooms and planning engaging learning experiences for every child. Their dedication and love for our students is what makes Moss-Nuckols such a special place.
As we get ready for the first day of school, here are a few important reminders. Our Open House will be held on Friday, August 7. Pre-K and Kindergarten families are invited from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m., and students in grades 1 through 5 will attend by appointment between 3:00 and 7:00 p.m. We can't wait to welcome you into our school and help everyone get ready for a great year.
Please remember to complete all required registration forms before school begins. Having those completed ahead of time helps us provide a smooth and successful start for every student.

I also want to give a special thank you to our amazing PTA for sponsoring Popsicles with the Principals. It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces and meet many of our newest Fox families. If you are looking for a great way to support our school, I encourage you to join our PTA and download the Box Tops app. These are simple ways to support our teachers and students throughout the year, and every little bit makes a difference.
Our first day of school is Wednesday, August 12, and we are counting down the days until we can welcome all of our Foxes back. We are looking forward to a year filled with learning, growth, and success as we continue Growing Greatness through unity.
