Good evening, Fox Families!
This is your proud principal, Mr. Street, and I hope you’ve had a wonderful weekend. We are excited to see our Foxes back and ready for another great week together!
I always appreciate this time to connect and share what’s coming up.
As we head into the week, we will continue our 3rd-5th SOL testing, with Reading wrapping up and our Math SOLs beginning. Our students have been working hard all year, and this is simply their chance to show what they know. We’re encouraging them to stay confident, take their time, and give their best effort.
Families, your support truly makes a difference—helping students get a good night’s sleep, starting the day with a positive mindset, and reminding them that we’re proud of them no matter what goes a long way. Our Foxes are doing a great job, and we’re excited to keep that momentum going.
Looking ahead, we are so excited to celebrate our senior Den Leaders at the Senior Den Leader Banquet on Wednesday, April 29th. This is always a special event, and we look forward to recognizing these outstanding students.
A couple of important reminders—our final day to turn in picture money or return unwanted photos is May 4th.
On Tuesday, May 5th, we hope our 4th and 5th grade families will join us for History and Science Night starting at 6:00pm. It’s going to be a great evening of learning.
And Friday, May 8th will be our last day for ice cream this school year.
Also, don’t forget to download the Box Tops app as an easy way to continue supporting our school.
As we continue looking ahead, our 3–5 SOL Carnival will take place on May 19 as a celebration of all the hard work our students have put in. If you’re interested in volunteering, we’d love to have your help—please sign up using this link.
Before I wrap up, I just want to take a moment to reflect on how fortunate I am to be part of this school community. Our staff shows up every single day with purpose, heart, and a commitment to doing what’s best for kids. It’s inspiring to see, and it’s something I never take for granted. To our families—thank you for trusting us, supporting us, and believing in the work we’re doing. It truly means more than you know, and it’s an honor to serve as your principal.
Thank you again for being such an important part of our Fox family.
Enjoy the rest of your evening, and we’ll see our Foxes bright and early tomorrow morning. Let’s make it a great week by working hard, being kind, and leading the way.
Foxes out!
