Good Evening Fox Families,
This is your proud Principal, Mr. Street, and I’m so excited as we head into Week 2 with our amazing foxes! I cannot tell you how proud I am of our students and staff for making the first week of school such a huge success. The energy, kindness, and hard work set the tone for what’s going to be an incredible year.
This week we’ll continue practicing important safety drills. We will be doing our first lockdown drill and also another fire drill. Please remember, these are just drills, but they’re a big part of making sure our students and staff know exactly what to do to stay safe.
A couple quick reminders from the office: when sending in notes to school, please be sure to include your child’s first and last name, and remember that any dismissal changes must be in by 2:30. This helps us keep everything organized and ensures a smooth dismissal for all students.
Also, outside food for classroom celebrations will not be permitted until after Labor Day. This gives us time to make sure all student allergy information is updated, which keeps every child safe.
Parents, don’t forget to join our PTA—it’s only $5, and it’s one of the best ways to support your child’s school. You can also help by downloading the Box Tops app and scanning your grocery receipts—it really does make a difference!
Looking ahead, mark your calendars for two exciting events on September 12th. That morning we’ll celebrate our Grand Hero’s Day, and that evening, we’ll kick off our first big PTA event—the Den Fun Run. Both are going to be wonderful opportunities to bring our community together.
And finally, I have to give another shoutout to our staff. I am so lucky to work with such a dedicated and loving team of teachers and support staff who truly pour their hearts into our kids every single day.
Let’s keep showing that Fox Pride all year long—by being kind, working hard, and leading the way.
Foxes Out!
