Greetings Fox Families! This is Anita Roane, your principal with our weekly announcements.  I am thankful that we had good weather and I hope you were able to enjoy some of it.

Thank you for sending your child decked out in green and gold Friday.  We had a Spectacular Spirit Day!

There’s about 2 weeks left to check out the selection in our online school store!   You can access the link below or by visiting our facebook page or school website. Get your students and yourself the latest M-NES gear and be ready for our next M-NES Monday.

Have you joined our Awesome PTA?  It’s only $5.00. They are an amazing support for our staff and students.  Please consider joining soon if you haven’t already.

In recognition of Constitution Day which is Tuesday, September 17th, we are asking everyone to wear red, white and blue.

Don’t have access to a computer or the internet? Come to the M-NES cafeteria anytime from 5-7 pm on Tuesday, September 17th for our Internet Cafe! Chromebooks will be set up for your use. Games and activities will be available for kids. Title I will be available for homework help- if you have questions about how to help your child with their homework. Admin will also be on hand to explain MAP test results on the computer.   Don’t worry about food, we’ve got that covered. Come on by!

Speaking of the internet, remember if your student has not turned in the signed Code of Conduct form, their Google accounts will disabled beginning Monday.  If you've forgotten, send it in tomorrow. The safety of our students is a top priority for our staff.  We need your cooperation in helping us to make sure all our students get where they are supposed to be in the afternoon.  That is one of the main reasons students report to the cafeteria for afternoon pickup and not the front office. Please remember if you are picking up your child for afternoon dismissal you need to pick them up in the cafeteria not the front office.  It is difficult for the front office staff to receive and hear important phone calls for last minute pick up changes or other pertinent school business when parents are attempting to pick up students at the same time during dismissal.  Additionally, If you have made a change in dismissal for your student to be picked up, a pass has been written for that student to go to the cafeteria not the front office and be picked up. We appreciate your cooperation in this manner. If you have any questions or concerns you may contact the front office.
